I watch the room
As through it moves
The one for whom
My heart now wishes.
The tender streams
Of her fine hair
Water down my dreams
Floating in the air.
Her glowing skin
Gives loving warmth.
Her eyes akin
To timeless worth.
Those eyes of home
That promise to be
The light unknown
In my terrible seas.
Her shining face
Gives me quiet peace.
My mind follows her grace
Laid out like a feast.
I open my eyes
And observe the room.
I'm alone again
As I watch the room.

Dark Memories Dark Memories


Dark clouds above him.  Cold earth under his feet.  A chill wind tugging at his hair, at his clothes…  A freezing feeling threatening to steal all warmth from his heart.

High above him, the clouds continue on, and the moon peaks out at the scene below.  A small village, all in shadow… The light plays out over the still form in the middle of the village square.  Moonlight slowly reveals the still figures all around the only one standing.  Men.  Women.  Children.  All laying down on the ground.  Laying in the mudDark Memories by ~Lonma

A frozen soul
Some where in the dark
There I'll go

Armor like ice
Thicker every day
Life is a game
Maybe I won't play

The cold keeps creeping in
The air starts getting thin
Now I've nothing left to give
Not sure I want to live

Just need some one to love
But no one is there
My will is starting to slip
I find it hard to care

I finally tried to love
It confirmed my worst fears
She never loved me
Where are the tears?

With my friends all around
There's no new strength to be found
A final letter sent to all
Trying to be happy with chemicals

It was an empty looking place, with a pile of large rocks that looked to be the remains of some building, on one side of the path, and a field that looked like it had been burnt out a couple generations ago, pale yellow grass struggling through the fall season with the remains to dead tree stumps sprinkled here and there.  At one point, it must have been a lovely glade, or perhaps an entire forest.  Now it was grassland.  And the furre walking down the dusty trail alongside it was in no mood to appreciate the paling grass.

Been a while.

Well, it -has- been a while since the last journal.  *looks at the date*  Um, yeah... like, over a year?  Heh...

Well, as far as what's been going on in that time... A lot.  Really.  And at the same time, not much to report.  I got really stressed out.  And eventually got past it.  Had all kinds of crazy stuff going on at the same time, both at work and home.  Now it's not so crazy.

We're living in Arkansas, now.  Been here over a year.  Still not thrilled with it.  Not a whole lot that I would recommend to any of my friends, but that's mostly because my friends are all a lot like me (Wow! Shock), so they also would not find much of interest here.  I don't want to sound like the state is all bad or something, because I know plenty of people who think this place is awesome.

I'm just not one of them.

Or any of my immediate family.

Or any of my friends.

You know how it goes. =P

So, while I realize that says very little, it's all I'm willing to say, and it counts as an update.  So consider yourself updated.

I seen you comment on fire angle i agree and respect what you had to say. i believe that you must be an artist with true intellect and knowledge of art. the world of art is dying tho we still have many great artists. but when i draw I draw to impress the world tho i may not If I can at least impress one person and make them happy, I think as an artist that way better then become famous.
